Beware of pigskin leather

Many retailers offer leather wallets, bags, and belts that are made from pigskin leather, which is the cheapest kind of leather available. You need to watch out for this for several reasons. Pigskin has large visible pores that give a rough an unattractive finish and cannot be worn by muslims. If you are looking to give a leather wallet or bag as a gift to a muslim friend, you surely would not want to give them a poor quality item that will offend them!

Quality cowhide leather

At Just4Leather, the majority of our leather items are made from cowhide leather. Cowhide is thick, tough and the most durable kind of leather. It is naturally scratch resistant and is ideal for creating items such as basic wallets and bags that need to stand up to the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Luxury calfskin

If one of our products is not made from cowhide, it's likely to be made of calfskin.Calfskin is leather that has been made from the skin of young cows that have not been weaned. As the skin is younger it has less imperfections such as scars and bites and so is often used to make fullgrain leather. This does not mean, however, that it is any less durable than cow hide.
